ReHab for Humanity

Rehab for Humanity, a program in conjunction with Montgomery County Housing Rehabilitation Collaborative, is an outreach program of Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity. Through this program, we assist senior citizens and disabled residents of Montgomery County with specific home repairs. The primary focus is repairs that will assist in maintaining the basic soundness and safety of the home.

How to Qualify:

• Must own and reside in the home
• Unable to complete repairs on own
• Lack the financial resources to hire a professional to complete the repair
• Home must be structurally sound and not pose undue risk to volunteers completing work

Examples of Work Completed:
• Installation of wheel chair ramp
• Window or door replacement
• Repairing plumbing leaks
• Other basic household repairs
